Senior Relationship Manager

We recruit for one of our clients, an international bank, a Senior Relationship Manager.

Your responsibilities
  • Develop the Bank’s market competitiveness in the transaction banking area.
  • Conduct marketing and sales activities; acquiring and maintaining Corporate (primary) and Financial Institution (optional) clients"
  • Expand the balance sheet of both Corporate (primary) and Financial Institutions (optional) business.
  • Increase the profit of the Bank.
  • Expand trade finance business volume.
  • Expand financial market business (optional), such as FX.
  • Promote and expanding RMB related business.
  • Promote and carrying out strategic business, such as cross-border match making.
  • Liaise with the Legal and Compliance Department or the external lawyer to complete related documentation process.
  • Ensure that the regulatory requirements are met by the department.
  • Monitor the documents and cash flows related to the transaction banking operations and implement post lending management to mitigate market risk or credit risk.
  • Work with members of other departments and external parties by producing reporting statistics and analysis, as well as review transaction banking products and various tasks associated with transaction banking business.
  • Liaise with BOC Luxembourg and other branches of the group for the development of business and target clients.
  • Follow relevant requirements regarding compliance and risk management, such as post-lending reporting, risk event reporting and file management.
  • Follow relevant requirements regarding routine management, such as taking and providing trainings.
  • Take the necessary actions in order to meet internal requirements if not mentioned above, including but not limited to:
    1. a) Research and analyze companies’ financial information and pro-actively monitor business opportunities;
    2. b) Study and manage credit related policies/guidelines;
    3. c) Operate relevant IT systems;
    4. d) Support with internal audit tasks;
    5. e) Collecting the products needs in the market and coordinating with product line for new product design and implementation.
  • Carry out other transaction banking related tasks assigned by General Management and Head of Department.
Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Fluency in English
  • 5 to 8 years experience in Supply Chain Finance business, ECA Trade Finance business or transaction banking business
  • In-depth knowledge of the banking industry, familiar with cross functional products.
  • Excellent communication and marketing skills.
  • Highly organized and detail orientated with a client focus.
  • Work efficiently and effectively under pressure
  • Excellent team spirit and building business relationships with clients

 

This position is a 1 year fixed-term contract to start as soon as possible.
